ANWYL GROUP LAUNCHES NEW NATIONAL LAND PROMOTION COMPANY

The multi-award-winning Anwyl Group is expanding its service offering with the launch of a new division; Anwyl Land.

Heading up the new division and tasked with driving it forward are Managing Director Phil Dolan and Land & Planning Director Duncan Gregory. Both join Anwyl from land promoter Gladman Developments and bring with them a wealth of knowledge and experience in sourcing suitable land for strategic and immediate residential and mixed-use development.

With its innovative strategy which focuses on working with landowners and advisors to unlock the true potential and future residential development of land, the new division aims to promote land on a national basis to help address the UK housing crisis.

Using their combined 35+ years of industry experience, Phil and Duncan will collaborate with landowners across the UK to identify sites (ranging typically from four to 40+ acres) that offer short, medium and long-term development. Whether it is a small Greenfield site in a sustainable town or village, or a substantial landholding in whole or part for a new settlement, the duo will use their knowledge, expertise and passion to secure residential-led planning permission.

From conception to completion, Anwyl Land will work on the landowner’s behalf, liaising with all the relevant industry bodies and consultants to manage and fund the whole process, maximising each site’s potential and optimising future value. As well as providing much needed market and affordable housing for local people, the developments will also bring community benefits, such as improved educational facilities, play areas for children and economic upgrades for local shops.

Commenting on the launch of Anwyl Land, Phil Dolan says: “It is an incredibly exciting time to launch this new division, and both Duncan and I are thrilled to join the Anwyl Group and be a part of their continued growth. Our drive, focus and determination to succeed on every parcel of land we promote, complemented by the financial strength and vast experience in planning, house building and construction from the Group, makes a formidable partner for any landowner seeking to realise the potential of their land.”

In addition to the new division, Phil and Duncan will assist Anwyl Group in developing its student accommodation and PRS models across the country. The company’s first student accommodation scheme in Liverpool recently received planning permission, and planning application has been lodged for a PRS apartment scheme also in Liverpool.
